Suppose we have sampled a low-pass signal with a bandwidth of 350 kHz using 2048 levels of quantization.
Note: You need to mention all the steps with proper calculation.
Part a:
Calculate the Nyquist sampling rate for this signal.
Solution:
In a low-pass signal, the minimum frequency is 0 therefore, we can say
fmax = 0-350 → 350KHz
we know that, k=1000
fs = 2 × 350000 → 700000
= 700000 sample/second

Part b:
Calculate the bit rate of the digitized signal.
Solution:
The number of bit per example and also the little bit rate are
nb = log 2(2048) → 11 bits/samples
N = 700KHz ×11 N
= 7700KHz
= 7.7Mbps
